What Do You Want to Master? -Pre-algebra (middle and elementary school math) -Algebra (I and II) -Geometry -Pre-calculus -Calculus -Middle school Science -High School Physics (Regular and AP) -College Physics (Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Thermodynamics, Quantum, Relativity)
My process: Do you want help with a homework assignment, or just want to pass a test? Or do you really want to LOVE math and physics like I do? Meetings’ frequencies depend on your goals, but I always recommend meeting at least once a week.
I treat all of my students like my friends, and we want to have a fun, exciting learning session so bring your A game!
What to expect at your first meeting: The first time I meet a student I like to start with an ice breaker. I encourage my students to send me materials to work on in advance (1-3 days before our session) This can be previous test questions or homework assignments.
A Little Bit About Me:
I was Born in El Paso Texas but grew up in Juarez Mexico until the age of 10. I Played football (American) and wrestled in high school. I then received a full ride scholarship and I attended the University of Texas at Austin (Go Longhorns!) where I received my B.S. in Physics. While in college I played rugby and studied abroad in Germany and Cuba. I speak Spanish, German, and English. I am a certified white water raft guide. And I have experience teaching/ tutoring science, math, and Spanish in the middle school, high school, and college levels. I’ve been told that I am a great storyteller.
"Dan has helped me immensely with my physics homework. He makes learning fun!"
"Math has always been a difficult subject for me but working with Dan has really opened my eyes to the simplicity of numbers!"
