Feeling stressed, tight, weak, or unstable? Together we will work on developing breathing techniques, flexibility, strength, and stability!
Breathing: In my time as a yoga instructor and dancer I have developed breathing techniques needed to excel at any activity (sports, business, stress reduction etc.). This is a necessity for total calmness and decision making. We will learn to develop strategies that work best for you at every class until you reach total serenity!
Flexibility: Ever feel sore after "simple" activities? Flexibility is one of the most important skills to learn for anyone living an active lifestyle! Together we will stretch in order to live a healthier life.
Strength: A common misconception is that yoga is always relaxed and usually focused on simple stretches. This, however, is not the case. There are many types of yoga, some more intense than others. Some of my expertise is based on building strength by utilizing muscles your body is not generally using. Together we will work towards a stronger body! This class is good for people who might have done a yoga class before who are looking for more of a workout/challenge.
Stability: Yoga is about bringing your body and spirit together. If you are feeling unfocused, unmotivated, or both, than this is the class for you! We will work together using a combination of techniques tailored to your specific situation and stresses!
My Process: It is recommended we meet once per week because consistency and frequency leads to better results! A full course consists of 8 weeks for the full benefit but many students continue to meet after that because they understand the power and benefits of my teachings. Although we work hard in class, my students often describe me as laid back and flexible with my teaching! This is YOUR class, after all!
What to bring to class number one: All you need is a yoga mat, comfy clothing, and yourself!
A Little Bit About Me:
With a 23 year background in dance, Danielle started yoga to remain strong and flexible. She kept returning to her mat because of an increased sense of calm, strength and peace. She earned her 200 hour certification in 2016 and teaches a powerful, core-centric flow aimed at encouraging students to find their edge!
