A Little Bit About Me:

Gina is a dedicated, creative and experienced tutor that uses her love and adoration for the luxurious language of Italian to purposefully spread its beauty among others to learn and enjoy. Privately tutoring and working with a diverse range of language learners over the last seven years has helped her formulate the most effective and entertaining teaching methods. She believes in breaking down the mechanics of the language for a better understanding of how it operates rather than relying on sole memorization. Her goal is to make learning Italian fun, relaxed and achievable while clearing through any obstacles that may present themselves to a new learner. Gina holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts and has also studied with two of Italy’s highest quality language schools, Torre di Babele of Rome and Centro Machiavelli of Florence.

Reviews:

"My outlook on language learning completely changed after my first Italian lesson with Gina in which I was introduced to a conversational skillset I didn’t know I was capable of using. After following through with a few more lessons, I am feeling confident in my understanding of basic speaking and can see noticeable results!"

"As an opera singer, I am faced with many different songs in a variety of different languages to present at formal occasions. Italian is the language I find myself working with the most and I always make sure to study the texts before singing them. Working with Gina has been a wonderful experience because her knowledge and understanding of Italian has helped me prepare my Italian songs in the best way possible— analyzing words, phrases and pronunciations precisely and with great enthusiasm. Not only am I learning the songs better, but I’m taking bigs steps in learning a beautiful language!"

"I recommend working with Gina, not only to those who want to learn to speak Italian, but also to those who want to learn about real Italian lifestyle and how to make the most of your time in Italy."
