How I Can Help You:

There is never ONE WAY to achieve greatness in anything, especially in the sport of ice hockey. The greatest athletes from the various sports in the world cannot do what we do. So to ACHIEVE the highest level of skill in “Our Sport” your skating must be near perfection. But before anything else.. it will be your MINDSET and EDUCATION about the sport is the key to it all. Far too many coaches and skill development people of today fail to execute year after year. People pay thousands for a coach who failed to develop the most precious skill of them all. This is how we BUILD from the inside out. From the FOUNDATION and everything in between is what equals your SUCCESS.

6 building blocks of hockey success:
-Skating Efficiency & Ability
-Fitness Level & Maintenance Stick
-Hand & Eye Maintenance
-Mind & Body Connectivity Recovery & Brain Health Personal Wealth

The 6 building blocks is a curriculum, it’s all in my manuscript & head. It’s currently wrapped up in a book set to publish and launch in the spring.

The process:

I work entirely from the 6 building blocks of success: the outline below is the easiest way to describe it.
Dependent upon needs of client, age, skill level.

Assessment 1 Video Chat:
Hockey Resume Received on Client:

(Example questions: Age, Height & weight, Medical info, What level of play, Team, Coach, Strengths/Weakness, etc.)
If parent is heavily involved with process: ( a parent conversation must happen with all decision makers)

Assessment 2 Video Remote:
-Player goes through a prescribed hockey assessment using drills to assess and have a baseline for instruction.

From there based on assessment we begin working on mastering the 6 building blocks.

I am a data analysis driven coach who gets results because we always deal with the truth, my style is dictated by what each client needs, I tailor everything to the client and their needs.

Reviews:

“Breener taught me what it was like to play the game the right way. He preached honest, two- way, hard nose hockey. The type of hockey that wins in the post season. He understood each player had their own identity and coached them to their strengths. Breen has this positive energy that was contagious throughout the locker room.” -Mason Appleton Seattle Kraken

“Breener helped me understand the game of hockey from a different perspective... adding small changes that made a huge difference in not only the way I play the game, but how I think the game. These small changes added up to make a tremendous difference. The ability to be confident in my game and make the right decision at high speeds under pressure.” - Wade Allison Philadelphia Flyers

“Neil is a former teammate and line-mate of mine from our days at Div 1 Quinnipiac University. I have known him for 20 plus years and he is very passionate about hockey, off ice training and the mental part of sports. He has a lot experience as a former player, coach and off Ice trainer.” Chris Cerrella GM Head Coach New Hampshire Avalanche Eastern Hockey League
